OK, stay with me here. Below is an MSNBC video about Zaarly, a location-based tool for finding people to work for you. (Please try to ignore the T-Mobile ad on the front. I can’t get rid of it.) As the video says, if you need someone to bring you coffee or you want a clown to perform at your kid’s birthday party, Zaarly will help you post the job and find someone willing to do it for your price. So it occurred to me, is this the future for chip design too? Will we recruit System, SoC, and Silicon Realization teams with a “pro” version of Zaarly in the not too distant future?
