Imperas develops fast models for newest ARM processor cores (ARM Cortex-A8, -A9, and –M4)

Imperas has announced some additions to its fast SystemC/TLM-2.0 ARM processor models. New simulation models include the ARM Cortex-A8, -A9, and –M4. These three new models enhance the Imperas stable of ARM processor models that already included the ARM7, ARM9, and ARM11 processor cores and the ARM Cortex-M3 core. Fast processor models are essential for early architectural exploration and software development during the System Realization phase of product development. Fast processor models permit the construction of real-time or near-real-time system simulations so that complex software such as the Linux and Android operating systems can be verified for proper operation before the final system architectural design is frozen.
